8606,
EMTECH 4 channel video capture card is a digital video surveillance
system, being based on embedded Linux operating system and advanced
MPEG-4 digital compression / decompression technique. It integrates
these functions of screen split, channel switch, video monitoring
and playback with high image quality, complete networking and remote
monitoring, various alarm trigger mode, motion detection and high
capacity disk storage. It not only provides more time for recording,
also solves the problem of signal attenuation for using magnetic
tape. Besides it has been replacing the traditional analog CCTV
devices due to its excellent high integration and multifunction.
Moreover it has been being developed into a new application
combining broad-band network large storage equipments and other
security devices.

GPIO-C EMTECH GPIO Interface DI/DO Cable
An optional module for enabling a more generic
interface with various items that one might need to integrate with
the DVR system. Designed for the most advanced of users or just
those avid users who wish to try how determine how far this can go.
This item is currently integrated with the new card hence is now
obsolete. Only kept for spares for users of the older card.

| Self Diagnosis |
After system erupt shutdown,
the monitoring program will trigger the built-in WATCHDOG
and arbitrarily reset the system. Automatic alarm will be
announced by the system if there are no signal from lens,
hard disk damage, wrong settings on GPIO and low capacity of
hard disk occurrence. |
(Designs and specifications are subject to change
without notice.)
The most impressive feature of this system by far
is its WATCHDOG software. Compared to other systems which need to be
monitored manually by someone, this system with the WATCHDOG feature
is advance enough to reset or repair itself if an error occurs or
even before a fatal error happens.
