8608,
EMTECH 8 channel PCI-Express DVR system is an all-in-one and simply
plug-to-use DVR card based on market leading embedded Linux and S/W
MPEG-4 technology, provides high quality surveillance with real-time
monitoring and high speed recording for each camera. 8608 PCI-E DVR
card with MPEG-4 H/W codec, provides high speed surveillance with
real-time monitoring and recording at 30 FPS for each camera. It can
support up to 16 video input, 8 audio inputs, 16 digital inputs and
16 relay outputs providing intuitive user interface and management,
high performance monitoring and recording, flexible alarm mechanism,
and fully network remote access capabilities. This whole system,
including a DOM (Disk On Module) module which embeds Linux-based DVR
system, a high performance Video Capture board, and an optional
D-in/D-out/Audio module, offers the best performance and stability
for your surveillance application. You only need to insert the DOM
module into the IDE slot and the Video Capture board into the
PCI/PCI Express slot of your PC, then it will function as a
full-feature network DVR system.

and arbitrarily reset the system. Automatic alarm will be
announced by the system if there are no signal from lens,
hard disk damage, wrong settings on GPIO and low capacity of
hard disk occurrence. |
(Designs and specifications are subject to change
without notice.)
The most impressive feature of this system by far
is its WATCHDOG software. Compared to other systems which need to be
monitored manually by someone, this system with the WATCHDOG feature
is advance enough to reset or repair itself if an error occurs or
even before a fatal error happens.
